Daniel Futa is currently studying at the University of Southern California for a BA in history and political science. He has successfully completed two internships during his time and now serves as the vice president of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity, a position which means he has to take on various roles of responsibility in order to ensure the successful running of the fraternity. He was also the student body president while graduating from Colorado Academy, a position he left in 2006 to attend university.
Internships with Citi Group and Summit Entertainment have proven successful for Daniel Futa. With Citi Group he was responsible for dealing with high net worth clients regarding their investments. He was also responsible for creating reports used to attract new clients and presented to new customers. He analyzed the performance of money managers to determine their effectiveness with client’s investment portfolios and to report on their respective performances. Other roles included the updating of old but essential computer systems and maintaining a variety of client databases.
Daniel Futa’s work experience has included two positions, one as valet with CDC Parking Management and the other as market researcher for MPEG LA. In his role as market researcher Daniel took on the mantle of overhauling, improving, and updating the company’s archiving and warehousing procedures to create a more streamlined and beneficial business process. He also analyzed and reported on the Chinese patent market, specifically providing details on the demand for this market and the potential legal ramifications of patent infringement.
